The creativity of high-headed stoners and kite-flying cannabis lovers is commendable. We have gone from smoking ceramic and mud pipes to beautiful, aesthetic glass pieces that provide an added effect on the already soaring high'ness. I am sure you entered the world of green buds with a joint in one hand and the sly nature of the greens to rule your world. But as you become the true connoisseur, you realize that there is more to this world that a simple joint. From complicated technologies to flavoured, vegan cones to twaxed joints, we have come a long way, and there is no stopping us! (I mean, come on, the world of weed is just beginning to be explored).

In today's article, we are talking about rose petal blunts that were born from an accidental Twitter post that broke the internet and gave the stoners an added twist to their precious herbs. On a fine September evening of 2017, @Simple_Sasha posted a video on Twitter, rolling a blunt with rose petals ONLY. The hinting pink, mixed with the green started a fire in the curious smokers that it became an overnight trend.

Four years on, and it is still very relevant and loved. And there is no reason why rose petal blunts shouldn't be appreciated like the gem that they are!

Rose Petal Blunt

The reason for using rose petals seemed like a genius invention. The aromatic beauty of roses is known for their soothing demeanour which accurately complements the calming properties of the buds. Even better, the aromatic terpenes of rose and marijuana blend to give birth to an enhanced intoxicating scent that is unparalleled in the canna-world. If you have borrowed the momentarily high from sniffing ganja, wait till you take your olfactory through the rose petal blunts.

I am sure you are hyped-up and curious enough to know a step-by-step guide on how to roll a rose blunt that hits the sweetest spot while smoking up.

Let's get started.

How do you roll the Rose Blunts?

Before anything, get your rolling station ready and clean to roll some swanky rose petal blunts.

Here's what you will need for the process:

  • Weed Nugs
  • Herb Grinder
  • Pesticide-free Organic Rose Petals
  • Oven (regular baking oven, toaster oven)
  • Lighter

Step-by-step Guide on Rolling Rose Blunts

Step 1:

Make use of your herb grinder to shred your flower into a nice fluffy consistency.

Step 2:

Grab a couple of rose petals and trim the hard base off, where the petal meets the flower. This is done to avoid any hard/thick parts in the final blunt.

Step 3:

Give the petals a good wash, ensuring you are successful in removing the impurities and toxins. You're going to inhale this beautiful flower, so ensure you're doing the job well. Remember to be gentle enough; a torn petal won't serve our purpose.

Step 4:

Once the washed petals have dried, it's time to lay them down on the baking sheet. Keep the bubble/round side up with the edges of the petal laying down on the baking sheet. This is done to ensure that they fold over each other when put in the hot oven.

Step 5:

Set your oven on broil, and place your masterpiece on the baking sheet and in the oven for 10 seconds. This allows the petals to become slightly tough, but mellow enough to be rolled.

Step 6:

Once you get the petals out from the oven, you will notice that they have gotten a shade darker. The next step is to lick the petals almost halfway and stick them together. The general acceptance is three petals which make for an ideal regular-sized blunt.

Step 7:

To ensure that our masterpiece burns evenly, it is necessary to put the placed petals in the oven again. This is done to dry the petals a little more, making it just perfect for a tight rollie. Pop in the oven for another 10 seconds of broil.

Step 8:

You have your rose petals, ready to be rolled into a beautiful blunt. Use your ground herbs and place it on the middle of your homemade rose petal blunt wrap.

Step 9:

Start with the tucking in, starting at the spot where the bottom of the petals is placed. The shape resembles a blunt, somewhat thin and roughly packed. Just make sure you're keeping the weed inside the petal, right where it is supposed to be.

Step 10:

Once your rollie is ready, wait before you light it up. You need to place it in the oven one last time, ensuring no moisture would stop the rose petal blunt from burning evenly. Put it on the pan and place it in the oven for 10 seconds, set on broil.

Step 11:

Allow the blazing blunt to settle down for two minutes. I know the final product is tempting and tantalizing to be lit up, but trust me, allowing it to settle down is an extremely crucial step.

Step 12:

Light it up and enjoy the much needed and earned aromatherapy.
